Final Preparations Underway at Intire Labs!

From the layout and instruments to the data systems and daily workflows, to mills, mixers, extruders, testing and analytical equipment, everything has been thoughtfully designed for efficiency and precision. Behind this modern facility stands a multi-skilled team of lab technicians and tire specialists who bring decades of expertise in tire design, material science, and industrial R&D. We are currently fine-tuning the final pieces:
- Equipment is being calibrated
- Systems are undergoing final validation
- Our team is preparing to open the doors
A key focus of Intire Labs will be the research, testing and analysis of compounds made from renewable and recyclable raw materials, helping the industry shift toward more sustainable alternatives. Our lab is here to support tire manufacturers, rubber product producers, and raw material suppliers worldwide.
“This is just the beginning—and we couldn’t be prouder of what’s ahead,” shares Sanna Siljander, D.S.c. (Tech), Laboratory Manager.
Why does Intire Labs matter?
In today’s competitive market, speed-to-insight is everything. We have seen how long testing cycles, lack of reliable data, or limited in-house capabilities can slow down even the most innovative ideas. “With us, you get m ore than just a lab,” says Sanna. “You get a collaborative R&D partner—one that’s invested in your goals, understands the nuances of tire development, and works side-by-side with your team to move faster—without compromising accuracy or safety.”
In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing more about:
- Insights into our lab capabilities
- Behind-the-scenes photos and videos
- Opportunities for early collaboration
What we offer?
“We’re offering everything from individual material testing and analysis to full compound innovation—empowering our clients to meet their ESG goals and stay competitive,” says Sanna. Together with Black Donuts Group, the Intire Labs will offer a wide range of services, including:
- Compound recipe development
- Material functionality testing
- Root cause analysis
- Reverse engineering.
The lab will cover all critical areas of material and compound research, such as:
- Rheological and cure analysis
- Thermal and analytical testing
- Environmental and aging studies
- Mechanical performance evaluations
